🎬 What You’ll Do
As our Video Editor, you’ll create video content that captivates, converts, and communicates with clarity. From branded social shorts to explainer videos and beyond, you'll help us elevate storytelling with speed, precision, and originality—powered by both your editing skills and the latest in generative tech.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing high-quality video content across various formats: social reels, marketing promos, explainer videos, case studies, and more.
- Using AI-powered video tools like Runway, Sora, Veo, and similar to enhance workflows and boost creative output.
- Editing and assembling raw footage into polished, visually engaging videos that align with Scalewind’s brand and voice.
- Collaborating with creative leads, project managers, and content strategists to develop concepts and execute projects.
- Creating light motion graphics and animations to enhance storytelling where needed.
- Staying ahead of video trends, emerging platforms, and evolving best practices in both traditional and AI-driven video production.
🛠 What You Bring
We’re not just looking for an editor—we’re looking for an innovator who blends technical proficiency with visual storytelling and isn’t afraid to experiment with new tools and techniques.
Must-haves:
- 2+ years of experience in video editing, motion graphics, or a related creative field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing storytelling, pacing, transitions, and creativity in video.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
- Experience or strong interest in AI video generation tools like Runway, Veo, Sora, Pika, Synthesia, or similar platforms.
- Solid grasp of visual storytelling, audio syncing, color correction, and sound design basics.
- Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and juggle multiple projects at once.
Nice-to-haves:
- Motion graphics skills (After Effects or similar).
- Experience working in a fast-paced agency or production environment.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering for video generation tools.
